feeding problems HELP

crestologist Apr 16, 2004 09:11 PM

my crested are about 3 inches from snout to vent and they won't eat their crickets (2-3 each)they are large, but i have seen them eat the crickets.

how much baby food should they eat and how much should i leave in a bowl for them? how long will it stay good in the tank.

Thanx kev

try feeding them a medium sized cricket and see if it changes how many/often they eat.
i only leave baby food in over night and remove the next morning. usually the baby food dries before it goes bad but i've seen it mold a couple of times within a day and a half so i don't leave it in very long.
we had a crested gecko last year that would only eat a couple of crickets in a week, and all of the sudden it just started eating like a pig and would take 6-7 large ones every other day.
just depends on what they're raised on i guess.
