Probably the reason you are having difficulty getting answers is because everyone builds their enclosures differently and they just don't know the outcome of temps with the vents positioned as you want yours. Since people live in different climates, it would be different for all.
Wouldn't it be easier to get vents that open and shut? Then you have options and can find what works for you.
