Housing Balls Togther

Hi I have 2 ball pythons that sre about 2 and 4 feet and im think they are male and female and i was wandering if i can keep themn in the same cage now or if i should wait until the smaller one (male) is a little bigger like 3 foot and also any help on sexing these snakes would be great too thanks in advance
