My brother is down in Florida for work for a couple weeks and went out yesterday to see what herps were out. He stopped at what looked like a hunting road (or just a dirt road off the highway) that looked promising and when he was not too far from his car he saw an animal that looked like a bobcat or a cougar...He said if he had to guess he would have thought it was a cross between the two. He said it was much larger than a bobcat but it did not have a tail (not even a bobcat tail). He said he could not see its face because it moved into the woods. He left without finding out what it was! Anyone in Florida seen anything similar?? This was somewhere between Naples and Tampa
