Its ecoearth-or its counterpart. Pretty nice stuff, I check over it once a week and take out any mold or poo I find, never had a problem with it.

Where did you get it and how much does it cost?
I am in search of that perfect substrate and have used Aspen, Paper Towels, and Astroturf. All have benefits and drawbacks.
I just want that substrate that looks nice, is easy to clean, transfers heat well, can absorb some moisture, maintains humidity, is non-toxic, doesn't promote fungus and bacterial growth, and will not pose any problems to my herps if accidentally ingested.
Anyone know of something along these lines? I wouldn't mind trying this 'ecoearth'.

Pet stores carry it, you can also get it cheaper at gardening shops. Its basically ground coconut fiber.
