Hey Hoppy-
Is that rock behind your snakes fake? If so, how did you make it? Thanks a lot!

No that rock is a real rock that I took out of a lot next to a person's home. the rock is stained yellow from years of well water sprinklers hitting it. It is a sand stone of some type and is very flat at about an inch think. I use it as a back ground base for most of my baby pictures.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Man, that would be cool if I could make a fake rock background that looked that cool!

Nothing beats the real thing, just go looking for a rock that will work. River beds, lake banks and areas like that work best. Water does cool things to rocks that we could never duplicate.
good luck

Well, I am kind of looking for a fake rock background more than anything. Do you have any other real cool ideas for enclosures?

No not really, I keep mine pretty basic because of the amount of snakes I keep as regular breeders (about 40 between my Boas and my Corns) So I have any real fancy ideas for decrative caging. I do use a lot of stuff from the beaches (I live in SW FL) like wood and rocks I find there, but not a whole lot of artificial things.
Good luck
