The egg is still here- doesn't look good though. We were using a home-made incubator and think there was a problem with it, so we bought a Hova-bator incubator. Couple of questions- does the height of the container the eggs are in make a difference. We were worried about the heating coil being to close to the container. We have 2 more eggs that look good so far-how long should we keep the other eggs before giving up? If the eggs went bad because of too much humidity, is ther anything we can do-they already about 45 days old. Brown-very soft-can see pips inside, but cannot see movement. The slit that was in the one egg is gone, but egg is dented in on that side.
