Breeding Question, with Pink Normal

clownloach Apr 17, 2004 05:53 PM

Hi, I have a pink normal BCI, if I wanted to keep that pink, what would be the best to breed him with (I know female) to get a really deep pink? Do you suggest going with hypo? Or other?

I would not go with a Hypo at all to bring out the pink in your Boa. Hypos tend to be on the Orange side of things and do not have the beautiful pinks that many Colombians have. I would look towards some of the High Pink/Pastel Colombians that are advertised. Jeff Ronne makes a great Pastel Dream line of Boas that has nice color.
Good Luck
