Hi, I am new to this forum, but have already learned so much from all of you thru the info about your tortoise health situations...I have a 4 month Redfoot hatchling,"SAGE", who has been dropping in activity levels over the last week, to the point that now he will not come out of his hide...He will eat when I put him in front of his food, then back to his hide..He use to roam all over his pen...I have been watching for bubbles from his nose, gapping mouth, wheezing, weight loss, but nothing...Untill I read Becki71 post about the clicking noise when breathing...Sage didn't make that clicking sound 2wks ago, but he does now, and it is very faint..Sage is going to the vet Monday....I want to thank you all for the information I received from your posts... Had I not read Becki71 post
I might have put off taking Sage to the vet, untill it was to late. THANK YOU!!!!!!

I am so glad I could help you out. I really have so much more to learn about tortoises. This is all so new to me. I just thank God for this forum! What would our poor little torts do without this place?! Good luck with Sage. It is so scary when they get sick. I hope he/she is going to be okay. Keep us posted on the little one.
