how can you tell if a mali is dehydrated? is a black or red light good for keeping temp up at night?
I'm not sure, but I think you can tell by the thickness of their tail. A healthy, hydrated uro will have a thicker tail than one that is not hydrated. I also think that getting a good look at their feces either right after they go, or basically catching them in the act will give you a good idea of whether or not the uro is hydrated. A hydrated uro will usually secrete water along with the feces. I'm sure there must be other ways to tell too though. I think there's probably a care sheet or something out there that will give you better info on it.
