which one is better? zoo med powersun or T-Rex flood active UV HeaT?

The only difference I am aware of is that the Zoomed warentee is 100%, you have a year and they will send you a new bulb if the old one burns out. Other brands are pro-rated, so they charge you for the time that you owned the bulb, and you only get a portion of your purchase price back if it dies.

that they were all made by the same factory and were just distributed under different names. I don't know if it's the same situation now or not. With them on the market for a while now, and the advent of the 60 Watters, things may be different.

Zoo-Med did replace mine (died suddenly after about 3 months) no questions asked.
