dendrouranus Apr 18, 2004 09:48 AM

Hey,

i've read some post through this site & it seems that very-well informed people is writting around.

I'm curious to know whta's the vegranis' venom main danger? i've found some different infos. sometimes it appears to be dangerously hemototxic, other times it seems to have the same huge neurotoxic activites as c.d.terrificus.

thanks.

While respiratory paralysis secondary to neurotoxic activities is the prevalent cause
of deaths, local and systemic haemorrhages are the major signs of Uracoan rattlesnake envenomation. A very not nice cocktail of toxins from one of the most beautiful rattlesnakes out there. One of my absolute favorites

Cheers
