Plant light in addition to UVB 8% light-is the plant light safe????

JadeFox Apr 18, 2004 10:14 AM

I put my beardie outside virtually every single morning for about a half hour for a good sun soak.

In addition I use a 8% UVB light. Two incondescent lights. Now I bought a plant/aquarium florescent light as it seems to look nicer in there with it.

Is a plant light safe for beardies?

I realize a plant light florescnet light is insufficient for UVB but the daily sun soak and 8% UVB florescent bulb well compensates.

The plant light is fine for just light.
