Beanie's first eggs are due to hatch soon I think...>>>

I have been incubating them between 80-85 degrees...normally around 82 degrees. So the incubation period would most likely be around 45-50 days. They are still firm and white and have no smell so they must be fine. They are due to hatch the week of July 1st. But I have some questions.
Should I setup a separate container in the incubator to keep the hatchlings in for a day or two. I have been told to do this so the babies won't scrape the yolk off on the paper towels and because it would be less stressful for them if their first few days were in a dim, temp. stable environment. Any thoughts?
I have four eggs incubating and the second clutch is due two weeks after these first ones hatch. I don't have enough room or time to keep all four babies and their parents. I want to make sure that the babies are off to a good start before I even consider selling them or giving them away. What is a good age for babies to go to their new homes???

I have had a good experience taking them out the same day. I left them in four at least a few hours. I know a lot of people don't like that method but its seems to have worked for my geckos. Keep in mind though, I have a very small, classroom science experiment type incubator that fits about two chiken eggs. two geckos plus two eggs doesn't leave much room.

For the age thing. I'd say no earlier than six weeks. They are still pretty fragile and stress real easy. I'm keeping mine longer to check out their patterns since I'm trying this for the first time wit new crosses.
