I was at a flea market today and saw several bed frames for sale. What if you took the head/foot boards and built a turtle table out of them. The furniture would not have to be "furniture grade" necessarily as it could be painted, antiqued, left rustic. The turtle tabe could be built using plywood with 2x 2's for reinforcement. build up the sides like you would normally do. On the inside of the head/footboard attach sides.
With a little thought and engineering a table could be built almost to any size. Heat and light could be added easily. Landscaping would be easy, with grasses, small shrubs, and edibles.
The best part would be the turtles would be easily monitored and enjoyed. What do you all think??? No. I'm not at turtle/tortoise owner. Yet. Maybe soon.
