They usually don't go very far. Check around heater vents, up inside curtains,and dark areas that they'll crawl off to and go to sleep. If she likes her crickets, set out some in a clear container in the middle of whatever room she was in, sometimes that will draw them out.

I lost a ball python some weeks back. After frantic searching to no avail, I calmed down and tried to 'think like a snake'. The only nearby heat source was the bottom of the refrigerator, so I looked there, and there he was!
To be on the safe side, don't vacuum in that room until you find her. Good luck!

look in low dark places, they generally wont climb up things as much as crawl under things. As was said already they generally dont go far. look inside furnature. They get under a couch and end up exploring the springs and padding.

I thought about the advice, so i looked again with a flashlight, and she was in our toyroom/computer room, in the back corner under a bed, between the wall and the bedskirt.

i was just so happy to see her so soon and ok...........delilah is such a love, she is one of l0 lizards in my home, and the princess of the group.

thanks for you concern;

If you have hard wod or tile floors you can sift flour onto the floor than when they are out they will leave tracks that you can follow. Also a few months ago someone lost a beardie on this forum and found her in a large potted plant, she had dug a hole.
Good Luck and keep us postd!!!

I also had my beardie run away on me in my house, what I did was went around and closed all the blinds so it was rather dark, but I left one set of blinds open and sure enough when I got home, there he was sittin on the floor in the light.

hope this helps.
