I'm 100% sure about that. It looks like it might be a young male too but don't quote me on that.

Good luck with your new addition

Congratulations on your new Uro! There are a few things that make the Uro a unique pet that I'm sure you'll find in care sheets, but I list a few here.

1. If that's a shallow water pool, you should probably go ahead and remove it. Uros don't need water and shouldn't be provided with it, because too much water can harm them. Uros get their water from greens...next topic.

2. Uros are herbavores so they eat strickly veggies, mostly mustard, turnip, and kale (occasionally) greens. Others feed their uros veggies mixtures with carrots, peas, etc. No broccoli, asparagus, or lettuces.

3. Uros need heat. Their basking temp should be upwards of 120 degrees, 130 max. The cool side should be no cooler than 80 in the daytime and the temps can drop to the 70's during the night. They also need places to hide and cool off since they regulate their body temp by moving to different areas of the enclosure. They also need UVB light in addition to UVA.

4. The enclosure...the bigger, the better. 40 gallon breeder minimum.

Those are the basics. Sounds like a lot but it gets easier from here! Good luck and have fun!
