while looking for delilah i noticed an abundence of black ants in my house...

any ideas with a bunch of lizards and fish in the house to get rid of them?

I will get diazinon for outside tommorow, but what about inside?

"black Knight" has done very well for me, it is a roach spray, but is widely used to treat mites on reptiles, but i have heard it can be harnful to gecko's. its an idea. "pro-exotics" has more info on it

If they are the black ants I'm fighting with, they are carpenter ants, and are attracted to sources of moisture, so maybe you can eliminate the source and they will go away. (Ieast thats what I'm trying to do) And the exterminator told me, they will not take poision bait as they feed on decaying wood. Good luck, and ill keep my eye on this post.

I use it regualrly, even spray it on my K-9s to kill fleas and ticks. It solved ant problems professional exterminators tried and failed at for months.

I don't think pro exotics sells it anymore though. check the classifieds. Use it as a barrier at doors and windows too. Just remember once you start using it, any crix that hit the floor cannot be fed to animals!
