10 parts water to 1 part bleach. make shure you rinse well after doing this and let air dry.Russ
We use mostly a 10 part water to 1 part bleach solution with dish soap added to clean almost everything including water bowls. Bowls are all soaked in this solution for hours and then scrubbed and rised well and left to dry completely before using them . I wash everything outside and it's all left to dry outside inthe sun so that we and the animals don't have to smell the bleach . My cages are usually cleaned the same way unless we suspect an animal may be ill in which case we use quats (you can get it from your vet ) to clean the cage and the water bowls are replaced with disposable ones we just toss into the garbage can daily.
If I have to spot clean a cage ...whipe the glass etc we usually just use vinigar in a spray bottle and paper towels ... they can lick this or drink this without it hurting them .. no worries about fumes with vinigar too.

mixed 20:1 or 30:1 you can spray it on animals, they can even bathe in it. No fumes. available at feed stores and vet supply. $40-$50 gallon
You should change up disinfectants often so the bugs dont build resistance to it.
