Albino Ground Snake

Chris DeLay Apr 19, 2004 12:23 AM

We hatched this little albino beauty from a pair of captive bred ground snakes. The mother to this snake laid a small clutch and unbelievably this was the only egg that survived and hatched. We sold the parents (very unfortunately) prior to this snakes hatching. This albino is a male. We're not sure if there are any other albinos of this species in existence, as we cannot find any documented literature on the topic. I was hoping someone from the forum would know if there are others or not. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Chris DeLay

Very cool, I've never heard of nor seen an albino ground snake, that's probably the first.
