MITES!!!! MITES!!!

Hi, does anyone know of the cheapest and most effective way to get rid of snake mites? As in a homeade substance. Thank you.

put about two drops of soap per gallon or until the water produces a very small amount of bubbles when stirred and soak the snake. the soap and water drown the mites and any crawling mites will be seen in the water. wash down tank with bleach water 1 cap bleach to 1 gallon of water. then switch to newspaper substrate. this may take a few applications and i don't recommend soaking the animal for more than about 30 mins.

I've used "NIX" twice in the past 10 years. Sold over counter in drug stores as a hair lice treatment for children.
Two ounce bottle cost about $10. Mix one ounce per qt. or less for one time use. Remove water dish. Lightly spritz entire cage, incl. snake, branches, etc. Replace water after 15 min. I doubt if you ever see the little buggers again.

Just buy a can of prevent a mite. It will work 0.
