My male pastel boa has a cloudy eye?

HomesickAggie Apr 19, 2004 08:41 AM

Hi. I noticed yesterday that my male pastel's eye was clouded over. I figured he was going into shed but then I saw his other eye and it's still clear. I took him out and looked, his right eye has a small "dent" in it and is half cloudy. I'm thinking he might have pushed it against something, has some fluid in there and it will clear up when he actually does shed? I had a baby copperhead with the same condition a couple years ago and that's what happened with him. Any opinions or comments are appreciated though. I just got him 4 days ago and it kind of worries me. Thanks alot in advance.

What you are saying it is possible! It may also be an eye fungis or a stuck eye cap! I would wait till the next shed and see what happens!
