hey all i have a little red tegu.i saw that tegus love the sandiego zoo diet.can some one give me the recipe?????also ive had my tegu for aweek and he hasnt eaten much hes always burrowed unless i pick himn up.Bert Langwerf said he may be hibernating because they are froum southern america so he might still be in the s.america life cycle.any tips would be helpful to get him eat.i really wanna try the sandiego zoo diet 2 see if he likes that

Congrats! Go under the old tegu forum (archives) search for SDZ
and the recipe should be there. One thing I do is substitute bone meal with rep-cal Vit D3 supplement (1 tbs per 1lb of turkey) and also the same measurement for herpevite supplement as well.

Yeah I also substitute various cricket dusts and calcium pelts for the bone meal. I can't find any bone meal around here and I've looked in a lot of different stores.
