Where is the strangest place you've done it?

Does anyone have stories about finding ribbons or garters in bizarre places? If so please post.
Here's mine:

One morning this fall (not that it is much of a fall in Louisiana) I walked into my hall and almost stepped on a small snake. I was quite surprised to see a snake in my house. I figured he was probably a brown snake or ringneck snake, the only snakes I had seen in our yard, looking for a place to hibernate. I flipped on the light and to my surprise it was a little eastern ribbon! After a small chase into my aunts closet, I caught him. We'd never had snake get into or house before that we know of. It was quite exciting that it turned out to be my favorite kind of snake in th world!

Found a ribbon snake coming out of a parking garage. I figured she had been hit by a car so I was going to keep her overnight. She gave birth to something like 26 neonate ribbons. Not ribbon related, but on one occasion I found a 5.5 ft TX rat snake coming out of a Kroger parking lot in the middle of Houston, TX. I was quite surprised and backed up traffic when I left my car in the right lane to move the poor thing off the road before it got hit.

Me and my wife went to the beach once in her car. While exploring the creek that fed into the ocean, I caught a beautiful coast garter T.e.terestris. I put it in a sack and hid it under my front seat (hiding it from my wife). It escaped on our drive home and rubbed up against my wifes leg almost sending her into cadiac arrest. She excitedly asked how a snake would get into a closed car! I told her that it was probably climbing in the tree above our parking space, and dropped in through the sun roof. Luckily, she doesn't know anything about snakes. She now tells the story about how a snake dropped in through her sun roof. I do feel a little guilty (hee hee)

My mom found on in a church in Idaho....they had just built an LDS church where I grew up. She had gone in early as we were good friends of the bishop and his family. She was getting a tour of the new building when they opened the door to the room with the baptismal font (tub for baptizing new members) she looked in and there was a garter snake in the font!! She took him out and released him before everyone else got to church.
