Hi Jeff,
Unfortunately she's the only obese hondo i've ever seen--came to me that way, fat pads & all--and failed to produce last year. This year I'm trying to breed her X a 3-color snow (pink, white and yellow) instead of my other snow male (pink & white)--obviously, i want to perpetuate the yellow in her. But as i say, unfortunately--she's not bred yet. She just had her 2nd shed two days ago, so there's still hope, though 90% of my hondo females have already finished breeding. And just to complicate things, the male i have shceduled for her went into shed about the time she shed, so i'm gonna wait til he sheds to try them again. I don't give it better than a 50-50 chance, though i'm keeping my fingers crossed.
