My turtle is finally opening its eyes but.....

it is half covered with a (correct me if im wrong) under water eyelid that moves side ways.
need info, don't have any vets near.

You have no vets at all near you? I was just wondering if you may have a non-herp vet that might be willing to look at him and perhaps consult with a herp vet. The concern that I have is that if you animal has an infection of some sort he may need antibiotics. You would need to get a diagnosis so you know what type of meds and the dosage you would use.
