Change in disposition...

Is it unusual for a pregnant Columbian boa to become a little aggressive? She is normally very tame. I have 2 hides for her in her cage, one on the warmer side and one on the cooler side.

Well......ya!! Sometimes pregnant ladies get a little cranky It's all those body changes, hormones, being stuffed and uncomfortable, etc., etc., Perhaps "boa" ladies feel some of those same things.....who knows for sure. One of my girls hissed at me for the first time late in her pregnancy. It was a lazy, pitiful sort of hiss letting me know she felt really crappy. She'll be back to her sweet self before long. Just keep telling her how beautiful she is. Good luck and best wishes.

Just like a guy not to think of those things, huh!
