GOT MORE EGGS!~ and more QUESTIONS!

dmlove Apr 19, 2004 04:54 PM

Well its the 63rd day and i see no activity in the eggs. They seem smaller than the ones laid by my bigger female. Is this sometimes normal? I see veins in them so im pos they are fertile. Should be soon, right? (SAY YES!! MY PATIENCE IS GONE!! LOL ) also, some of the other eggs are a little...lumpy. Is this normal? There are still veins in them AAH i had to buy a 3rd incubator for the new clutch of eggs Anna layed yesterday. We have 101 eggs now, going up. That was with one breeding per female.

I am still mourning Ralphie, the necropsy people could find notihng wrong. I am getting a young orange male, and also another orange male from Bennet on here (beardiedragon). Cant wait. (One for me and one for my cousin, both for our business!! ) lol. Cheech is being conditioned to be bred, still hasnt bred yet no matter how hard we trY!! lol, well maybe a new male will do it. Artemis has had 3 clutches, and may be gravid again (with Ralph babies!) and Anna Nicole has had 2 clutches and is gravid with a 3rd.(with an orange male from previous owner). Well, im happy, so any answers would be great!!!

Thanks soo much!!

hello.

some eggs swell up bigger than others.

what is your temp range? as long as it was 82-84 about they should be along soon....if it was lower you may need to wait a little longer.

i'm not sure what you mean by lumpy.....before the eggs hatch they collapse (kinda looks "lumpy" some do that.

as long as your humidity is up and the temps are right they will be along in a few days (probably less than a week)...maybe sooner....i'm not too sure about the longer indubation times, mine are hatching now at 58 days.....so, i dunno.

sounds like you need to invest in a bigger incubator. haha.

hope this helps some.

Well the "lumpy ones'' arent dented because they are only a few weeks old, they just kinda have lumps on the side, not a perfect sphere. Well ive been incubating about 83-85 so im just waiting. The humidity is about 75-80 percent. Haaha yeah a big incuabtor would be aweomse, lol well i have so many little ones, just got a fourth, might as well just keep em...*sigh*
