These frogs are completely aquatic. They need to eat more than mice. Try feeding it live goldfish or other feeder fish. They also like blood worms. You can buy them frozen or freeze dried. You can also feed them pellets, buy them online or at a petstore. I feed my adult frogs one dozen feeder fish each week and they snack on pellets, blood worms, and flake food during the week. I also throw in a few nightcrawlers during the week. You can get care sheets if you do a search online for them, but make sure it is a good information source.
Hope I could help a little. Everyone has their own way of taking care of their frogs.

Mice and goldfish should be avoided.. feed freezedried krill, gammarus.. specially formulated xenopus diet is really good as well..
gold fish produce alot of ammonia and also prevent proper absorbtion of vitamins by your frogs!

I have raised and bred many of these frogs on non-living food. Actually this is the first time I have heard of someone giving them mice. I feed mine reptomin as a basis becuase it is formulated for aquatic frogs and reptiles. In addition they also LOVE frozen bloodworms. Worms can be a good one to so can brine shrimp. I am part of a clawed frog group and someone there said goldfish as a chem in it that blocks aborption of particular nutrients but I could be wrong. These frogs don't need to be fed every day when they are adults or they can get obses (they look really funn when they are over weight) also... they are fully aquatic, and are known for escaping so be really careful in making sure you have a secure lid cause if they jump out chances are they are a goner.
hope this helps
