Hi i have this three toed box turtle female that i feel is a bit different then normal but i don't have much to base that on so thats why i'm here she is very very different from my male though so my question is are males and females always that different?
my male is your typical three toed just like out of a picture book but my female her shell is very very green olive and also very smooth no growth rings are visable at all. my males shell has many visable growth rings, but they are not all that different in age 3 to 4 years difference at most the male being older.
could Tiki my female be some sort of hybrid or is that just silly?

florida boxies can have 3 toes too, but they look realy diffrent from 3-toeds and have stripes on their heads. but the main thing about 3-toeds is they have 3 toes on the hind feet. they have basic plain tan plastrons too usualy.
