well today i lost one of the rescued iggs. and it was the one i thought was going to make it. i lost the one with the finger problem to unknown problems.

the real skinny one is doing great. he is eating and drinking. he eats on his own. but he will only drink out of a syringe(which my big guy likes as well) he has gone to the bathroom and has more energy which is a plus!!!!

Man, i tell you what...when i see stuff like this i could spit fire. Where did you rescue these little guys from. Poor babies. The ignorance that people can harbor boggles my mind. My baby was a rescue. Sunny is 4 years old, and was fed eggs for the first 2. She was yellow when i got her, due to impending renal failure. She had a nice bur/rub on her nose too. God, it just makes me so mad. But, it is great what you are doing for the iggies. REmember, too that alot of the times a rescue animal can be the best pet of all! Keep up the good work.

i hope he makes it.. my other igg that i adopted was a rescue and he is the biggest baby... i got it from my place of work and an 8 year old kid dropped it off one night and walked away.. it was sad..

Swollen extremeties can sometimes be a sign of systemic infection... If it were me I'd have a necropsy done on that one to find out what it died from actually.

So sorry you lost one But, at least for the last little while he was in a place where someone cared. Thats great that the other one is eating and drinking, he is very thin but I'm sure he'll gain fast Can't wait to see updated photos, in a month or two he'll be a different ig! Heck, in a week or two he'll be a different ig no doubt

ill keep everyone updated.. i think my big igg is getting jelous because the new one is getting all of the atention...lol

Those poor iggys. Sorry to hear about the other one. This one is in good hands. It seems you might have got it in time. It's really sad to see them in that kind of shape. It's good to see new pictures of your big guy. Good luck with the new iggy, you may very well have saved it's life. Actually, I'm sure you did.
