Hello Gang!
I've entered the egg incubation phase for my pines, and today I looked in on the two clutches. Big Girl's eggs are doing great. The young female's...they just don't look the same, seem thinner? Just aren't the chalk white the older female's eggs are. Plus they have all these tiny almost star shaped spots on them, almost like she didn't have enough calcium for them? Any thoughts from you breeders would be appreciated! It's going to be a long two months...!!!

Don't count them out.Every clutch will look a little different.
The little stars are nothing to be concerned about.

I agree with Shannon, Last year we had some eggs that were not found for several days and were black and green. I fiqured they were gone but they all hatched and were healthy babies.
