Of gene carriers for that specific trait.(the same genetic theories that apply to recessive,tyrosinase negative albinism.) either,het X het...het X homozygous...homozygous X homozygous,etc...(you CAN breed a known het to a normal,and,have a 50% chance of any two subsequent offspring being het.)your chances of getting one through random trial combinations of unrelated animals are probably significantly better than Elvis stopping by for lunch...
50% chance,ONE of any two...

Rose thanks for the awesome compliments! but,I'm certainly no genetics expert! I think it just seems to make sense to me,kinda like some people look at a math problem,and,the answer just seems apperant to them? actually,I've never had any formal education in the subject,but,I'm fascinated with the combination of logic,and the element of surprise that I've experienced in the short time I've been applying it to breeding reptiles...it requires continual reassessment,with a touch of "thinking outside the box",and,I like that! just when you think you "know" the answer,you're forced to re-evaluate the "question",and,look at the evidence in a different way.(thanks again!
)
I want to see some pictures of these guys, Tracy you got any photos of your Babies? Let us see them please!!!!, And of course you did do a nice job of explaining the genetics of the T albinos LOL.
Thanks

Here is the only combination that will result in Nicaraguan T positives this year!!! They're due August 1 and I'm hoping everything goes according to plan!!!
We are also hoping for a few combinations like these that will result in 100% het for T positives that will give another combination possibility for producing more of these beauties!! This particular combination is the smaller T positive male with my female Jablonski super stripe. Someday soon (years!!) we may see a super stripe T positive!! LOL
And here is a close up of the T positive female just prior to breeding season.

They're looking better in my eyes everytime I see them. Best of luck with all your projects. Take care

UNREAL pics! Man, if you produce T babies I'll flip. Best of luck on them plus the S-Stripe Combo. That will hopefully also produce something INSANE looking in the future! Great stuff Tom...
