Need Help, New To The Species!

I was wondering what type of substrate and houseing requirements rat snakes need. Like what are the dimensions that could house a full grown adult? Any pictures of setups/cages would be great! I am looking to purchase a Leucistic Rat Snake and came to you for the info instead of searching yahoo or whatever. Are they hard to keep, how are their temperments. Mostly I just need to see what the perfect setup would be! Thanks!!!!!!

Is it a leucisitic black rat or a leucisitic Texas rat?

It's the black

...for medium sized ratsnakes, this is the system I use most often...Aspen bedding for substrate and plastic jugs for water, soaking, and hides.

I keep my group of 3.3 in 30 quart sterilite boxes in a rack system. I also have 1.2 that are younger and kept in 12 quart sterilite. The racks are maintained in the low to mid 80's. I use different substrates depending on the time of year. Newspaper, sani-chips, and pine shavings. They will feed more often but I feed every 7 days except during the breeding season when I feed more food items and every 5 days. Email me if you need more info.
