Can I put a Tortise in my Beardies Cage?

I have a 55" x 20" wood and glass cage with 1 beardie about 19" including tail.

Would there be a problem putting a small tortise in the cage with him?

You do not want to mix species. Things that are naturally ok for one may be deadly for another.
