Hi there, Im worried because I bought a HL in a pet store here in Mexico. The thing is now my HL got babies. My wife counted 16 and the mother never ate (now its about 15 days in our home).
Could you please tell me how can I keep the little ones alive for a couple of days. I'll try to release them.
Besides Lester do you know any one here in mexico who could help me to the release all the hl?, avoiding their capture again.
I live in veracruz mexico so I would like to know where is a natural area for them, it would be better is there was a special protection on that area.
I would like to mention too: this hl's were born not for the care given in the illegal captivity, were born because the people who provides the ignorants like me, also captures females & they dont mind to capture the pregnant ones.
If there is anyone reading this post & is thinking to buy a HL here please let me say NOO!! avoid the killing. Dont be as stupid as I was. My little purchase could end up with 17 HL deads just for a single capture. I dont want encourage the ones with the hope of having their own babies hl.
