Help...green and blue eggs!!!

unclesnake Apr 20, 2004 05:06 PM

My albino burm just laid over forty eggs yesterday. Thirty eight appear to be good eggs. Two eggs were very small and nippled (they were disposed of). Three eggs were abnormally large and did not hold their shape when picked up. I placed all of the good eggs in an incubator along with the three mutant eggs (in a separate container). When I checked the eggs today the three mutant eggs were a very distinct blue/green color. Also two of the good eggs have a slight green hue to them. All other eggs appear fine. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance. One more thing, the two eggs that have the green hue are attached to an egg mass of about twenty. Thanks again.

I think its pretty safe to say that those discolored eggs are bad and get rid of them. You can try to incubate the ones that dont look too bad but Id just get rid of the discolored ones.

Maybe you should just make green eggs and ham. Dispose of them
