Skin caught on toenail

jaybfresh Apr 20, 2004 06:21 PM

Hey all,
I bought a skunk gecko today (he's VERY active). I didn't notice how when I got him, but there is some shed snagged on his toenail. I know with leos, skin on the toes can eventually cause a loss of use of that toe...is the same true for skunks? The toe looks fine, and moves fine but I have no idea how long the skin was on the toe.
Thanks

Just take the skin off, either increase the humidity or take it off with tweezers.

Good Luck!

I already took the skin off, i was just wondering if, in the case the skin had been on for a while, that the toe could bew hurt
