No , wrong species ...... these guys dont have toe pads but have claws , the species you're talking about have toe pads .... I got 1 . 6 as a group , i dont know what they are except they are bout 4 inches and keep them dry and eat 2-3 week old crickets ........... anyone else know what the latin name is ?

Looks a lot like Homonota horrida, only that's from South America.

Cyrtopodion species, from Pic and Origin ist most likely Cyrtopodion scabrum

ill take a guess and say its a rough tail gecko or cyrtopodion scabrum.it is a gecko from egypt southward to sudan and east to north west india.it was introduced to galveston texas on loading docks and they have small populations liveing their.hope this helps.go to google adn see if you can find a pic of one because im pretty sure thats what it is.
