Question about red foot tortoises

Crocker Jun 14, 2003 08:05 PM

I was wanting to know if there are any other species of tortoises that can be house together with a 1 year old red foot tortoise. If you know of any please answer me.

Although another Redfoot is your best bet I do believe
box turtles can be housed with them because they are kept
pretty much the same way. Cooler temps and humid!

Hopefully, someone else will post. I am not one to keep
mixed species together.

The only other thing to put with a redfoot is another redfoot. Don't mix species! You're playing with fire and your animals health if you do. Each species carries it's own pathogens and what one can handle the other can't.
