cage plans

gyke Jun 14, 2003 08:08 PM

I just wanted to see what anyone thought of my plans for building a new cage for my water dragons. I want to make sure there are no obvious problems. It will be 6.5 feet tall, 3 feet deep, and 4.5 feet long. The back, bottom, and both sides will be 3/4 inch fir plywood and the front will be plexiglass. The inside will be painted with white and then sponge painted with green water based enamel. Then it will be sealed with either polyurathane or epoxy. School ends next week and with any luck I can start on it the following week so that it can air out in the heat for most of the summer.

Sounds like fun but one thing your should check first. Make sure it will fit through a door way. 3 feet might be too wide.
