Hey Brandon,
Real cool!! My Girlfriend likes those guys. I was wondering if they are intelligent? Do they interact with you or do they try to just get away from. I am interested in hearing your experiences with them.

Randy

P.S. saw you are looking for Orange Hypopastels. Clear nail or doesn't matter?

Hey Randy,

If you buy captive born and bred ones that have been interacted well with them since they were young they do quite well. If you buy imports they can be pretty nasty creatures.

Clear nailed orange pastels are my favorite.

Thanks,
brandon

How are sugar gliders in relation to handling? Do they become attached to their keepers?

Also, how difficult are they to maintain?

Rather new at this.. but our experience with them so far has been great. We bought cbb ones and they are very sweet and love to be handled and they cuddle and sleep on you and hangout just like little babies.

They require calcium and dusting and lots of fresh fruit and veggies.. so they are not difficult but they do have certain requirements that must be met.. not like a hamster.

They are a lot of fun.

Never had this kind of animal. Where do I go on the net to look up their care and info about them? They certainly look darling, but so did my kids when they were young(before the teen years).

type in sugar gliders on google.com or yahoo.com. You'll find a ton of info on them.

They are really cute. I've got nothing but reptiles. Well, and one rosehair tarantula.
To be honest, I know absolutely nothing about the SGs. But they are really adorable. Do you breed them? I've heard they have a very strict diet.

How can you tell them apart?

2.0 bearded dragons (Ocho / Domo-kun)
0.1 kingsnake (Rio)
1.0 ferret (Playstation)
1.0 cat (Wally)
0.1 dog (Tima)

It was hard the first few hours.. after watching them and interacting with them they can be told apart... it's really hard though when the lights are down low and hard to see the pattern and they are all flying around.
