I've been having a lot of problems with my 2-year-old leopard gecko's eyes. I've been to the vet three times for this one problem. They believed that it was a bacterial infection, and gave me Neobacimyx, then instructed me to return a week later.

I came back a week later and they told me to continue administering the Neobacimyx, and wait 2-4 weeks.

Well, she hasn't really gotten any better. I continue to pull pieces of shed skin out of her eyes (I think there was a big piece under her eyelid..which was what was bothering her).

My current problem: She won't eat. She refuses to open her eyes and see her food. I've done everything the vet has told me to do. I change her paper-towels every week, I keep giving her the medicine, and I'm trying my best not to worry. -.-

I've also found that the mealworms tend to crawl underneath the paper towels (I just recently changed her substrate). How do I avoid that? I've tried feeding her in a separate area, but she, once again, refuses to eat. Could this be the cause? Should I try using some other sort of substrate? (like indoor-outdoor carpeting?) Gah.. I don't know. I just want her to actually be able to chase crickets again. :/
