Fat Tails wont eat

endofshow247 Apr 20, 2004 11:55 PM

Just got some new babies in yesterday... they're about 10 weeks old and they were feeding fine for the breeder i got them from.. But i put some crickets in their for them tonight and no go yet... I think they might just be stressed from the move and the new enviroment...
Any suggestions would be nice..
Thanks
`Matthew

That is normal for most new AFTS. One of mine didn't eat for about a month after i got my adult male.

I have an Amel. Fat-tail that was doing great when I got her than all of the sudden refused to eat and got crazy skinny losing all weight in her tail..I fed her baby food for a few weeks and finally just before I was going to take her to the vet..she just started eating crickets off the dropper I was using to feed her..and now every night she is eating..I think they are just very easily stressed..make sure you have plenty of hide spots..
