Robyn>>>Supplementation Question

cv768 Apr 21, 2004 06:15 AM

What do you use as a D3/vitamin supplement???

We've always used Reptivite by Zoo Med or the HerpCare cricket dust...(which both have different levels of D3)

We also provide the bulbs but are probably going to stop once they burn out after hearing numerous things about them. (One breeder in town has had more breeding success without the lights with his beaded dragons...instead he just uses normal florescents)

we don't use any special bulbs, just Halogen Floods, typically 45 and 90 watt...

we use MinerAll w/D3, and also the Uro Superfood dust with veggies. without getting into specifics or quantities, our diet includes:

frozen mixed veggies
fresh sprouts
fresh greens and veggies
split peas and lentils
rep cal iguana pellets (fruit loop tiny size, rec. by Dix)
roaches
fresh dandelions
minerall (dusted)
uro superfoods (dusted)

i think that is it... it is all given at various times of the week. there are typically a couple different food items to choose from at any one time.
