Here they are in their new home. They love the *stick to the glass* cave and they have two humid hides (small cream cheese containers). The two lids work great for water but not so well for mealworms. Not two minutes after putting in the worms they had escaped. So theres now a very shallow clear glass dish to the very right side of the tank, not that it matters much LOL

I have been feeding small crickets but decided to try and drop a few mealworms in front of them and they went after them as much so as the crickets.....i'm so happy. They were so cute wagging their tails,then pouncing but it looks like i'll be doing this for a while as they don't appear interested in the bowl of worms.
Not that i mind.....its quality time spent with them hehe and i really enjoy it.

I'm having trouble with names right now so if anyone can help me out that would be great. I've been through lists and lists of them but nothing has struck me yet.

Your new babies look great you must be excited, I took some pictures of my fat tails and their tank setup, now I just need to get them from the camera to the computer.

When I named my leopard geckos I looked at a list of Indian baby names because they are from that area one I named after a river in that area Indus (my oldest female). the others are named after the indian baby names I found, Sashi - means moon (she has two moons in her pattern when she was a baby), and my male Harshad - means one who gives pleasure.
So since Fat Tails are from Africa here are some suggestions
Rivers of Africa - Zambezi, Jubba, Chari, Sangha, Sanaga.
Lakes of Africa - Malawi, Tana, Kivu.
Cities of Africa - Kinshasa, Luanda, Nairobi.

They are Girls right, thats what I picked names for.

Thankyou, yes i am vey excited about these two. None of my geckos were this tiny when i got them, nor as willing to be held.

Those are some really cool names. I've been looking for something that fits their personality so i've been trying to sit by the tank and check out what they do in the evenings. Both are quite active and they go nuts when i feed them hehe.

I must have gone through a thosand names but i finally picked some. I went with Native American names because i liked the meanings:

Miss Stripe is now Tala meaning: stalking wolf (it suits her because of the way she goes after the crickets and mealworms-to cute)

Miss Banded is now Sakari meaning: sweet

I also picked out a few other names (not all Native American) for any future geckos hehe.

looks very nice! AFT babies are the cutest thing at feeding time, thats for sure. theres something about AFT's and Flinstone characters that just go together to me as far as names. I have a Bam Bam and Pebbles, their personalities are perfect.

I'm looking for names that aren't gender specific even though they were incubated for female.

I see you have an amel male...I'm hoping to pick up either an amel or 100% het amel male in June. I'm very excited
