Will this work or no?
no
NO, not only are male beardies somewhat territorial(except towards females), but they must establish a dominance over cagemates. Two males will lead to fighting and undue stress on both parts. If one is larger than the other, it could possibly cause health issues over the intimidation of the smaller one. Such as failure to eat, drink, bask, etc.
If you must house 2 beardies together: #1 make sure they are close to the same size. #2 two females or one male & one female. #3 Make sure your cage is big enough to properly house two. They need lots of room.
I'm no expert on beardies, but I think everyone else will tell you the same thing. It's kinda like common knowledge.
Hope this helps,

Although I agreed with most of the previous post I must correct a few points.
1. Males and Females should not be housed together. The male will stress the female, constantly try to breed with her and her health will suffer. And males are not just terratorial over other males. All beardies will be terratorial over all other beardies.
2. Although 2 females may be housed together, there may still be dominance issues, and if fighting or dominance occurs, even two females must be separated.
3. A fully grown adult beardie requires 6 square feet of cage space. If housing together, increase the cage space accordingly.
4. Beardies are solitary creatures. They do not need company. They do not live together in the wild. The pictures you see of beardies piled up are posed - this is not a natural situation.
As always, my posts are my opinion only.

Well Ross,
Like I said, I'm no expert. I was only giving my point of veiw from my own personal experiences.
