Anyone who went to the Hamburg PA Show, what's your opinion??

Hi,

I went to the Hamburg PA Show this afternoon. Overall, they had a large selection of reptiles to choose from. I've never seen so many poisonous snakes before!!

It was amazing to see burmese pythons, african rocks, and ball pythons priced at $20 and below!!

They had plenty of common columbian boas available, but to many morphs.

One thing that struck me...NO one was buying...
I was able to bounce back from table to table and anything that I was interested in was always available. I think the kingsnake classified section has a MUCH better selection....

I'm curious to know what others thought....

Thanks,

Peter F.

I went to Hamburg and I was also surprised at the large number of Pythons selling cheap. I pretty much knew what I was looking for there, so I didn't stay long. I was frankly not impressed with the selection of non-venomous, but there was some nice venomous stuff there! I don't keep any venomous right now, but have in the past and probably will again when space and finances allow. I bought a pair of White-Lipped Pythons (hence the handle) which I am quite pleased with. I saw a lot of tables with stuff that didn't look so good, and some with overflowing cages that stunk to high heaven. Overall opinion, great show for venomous, so-so for non. I think I'll opt for the closer show in Syracuse NY in August. -Count Lippy (Bill Payne)
