Egg Diversity

Jbuggs20 Apr 21, 2004 11:20 AM

After taking a look at my eggs today they are all very different. The 1st clutch 2 eggs that was layed have hardened slightly and are staying bright white. The 2nd clutch was one egg is way bigger then the other eggs and is a little bit more darker white color and semi soft but plump. And the 3rd clutch of 2 eggs are alittle smaller then the 1st clutch and semi soft with the same bright white. If by chance a egg was infertile how long until it should cave in???

Yes, they do come in different shapes and sizes! I have some that are long, and one clutch of almost round ones. If they are not fertile, they will usually fail within the first couple of weeks.
