Well, first off, thats probably illegal. I don't know what state you are in, but in Florida, you need a permit to sell or trade leos.

Also, I would keep the bells. What is one giant going to do for you? The bells, all 7 of them, are probable worth much more then the giant. I would keep the bells... but thats just me

She has a 7 week albino, not 7 albinos...lol. And, it's not illegal to sell leos in Florida without a permit. I'm pretty sure that law only applys to wholesaling, or if you are mass producing and selling large quantities.

No because I go to the shows and Florida Fishing and Wildlife department is there checking for liscences. (Its a Class III liscence... I've done all my homework )

You just proved my point. The vendors at show are producing a large number of animals, and actually make a business of selling them. Therefore, they have to have licenses and pay taxes for it. A small hobbyist that is only producing a few animals aren't turning a large profit like the larger businesses. So, no need for a license in that case...

Right, like if you want to sell to your co-workers, no one is going to no the difference, but to be a vendor at a show, you need a permit. I'm not sure about trades, I remeber a sting a while back where vendors were approached by undercover officers who attempted to sell poisionous snakes. I know the vendors who offered to buy it were fined for buying from a non liscences person... but maybe because it was venomous? What I'm saying is you might want to have prior arrangements set up with the person, to avioid any potential run-ins with the law.

Sorry if it seemed like I was attackingyou, re-reading the posts, it may have come out that way.

That's alright, I didn't feel attacked. I was trying to watch my post actually, because sometimes I come across like I am attacking...lol. But I am pretty sure most shows and expos dont allow people to bring reptiles to a show unless they are a vendor...

Selling or trading venomous is illegal in FL without a permit but not non venomous unless it is in large quantities. Otherwise they would be fineing everbody in the news paper trying to get rid of a snake or lizard they no longer want or can care for. I think the whole venomous sting was the officers were posing as people without permits trying to purchase venomous snakes from the vendors.

I am in florida as well and I have never heard of this.. If you needed a license there would be way less vendors and fish and game wouldnt have to be there checking because all the vendors would have to be licensed..

ok, first of all i was plannin on bringin pics and making a trade later. second, i'm not tired of him. he's awsome but i was sooooooo stupid that about two-two and a half weeks later i realized that i need a female/male of breeding age. not one that i raise up. but all in all. i don't mind at all keeping him. it would just help me in the long run to get one of breeding age.

In my personal opinion Id do whatever makes you happy.. But all the vendors at a reptile show didnt come to the show to trade animals they came to sell and make some money. If you have a 7week old bell albino why dont you get a baby giant and house them together? By the way what does your cage/tank setup consist of and what do you do for heat? Not to mention a breeder/wholesaler/vendor at a reptile show may not want to take your animal in a trade because it will be a strain on them keeping the animal quarentined. The Bell Albino is only 7weeks old so you couldnt have had it for that long and your already tired of it?? Sounds like you might need to switch hobbys..

Oh man, sorry, I thought there were 7, my bad.

Well, that brings things to a new level. In this case, I would do what I wanted to. Do what you think is best.
